Michelle Thompson
Owner & Educator
Michelle has been a lifelong resident of Cedar Falls, Iowa, residing here with her husband, two children, and beloved Sheepadoodle. She has been musical all her life - singing, dancing, figure skating, and playing the violin. She has a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa with an emphasis in Childhood Speech and Language Disorders.
Michelle is the owner of Little Light Studio and teaches all levels of Kindermusik. Her mission isto facilitate the development of the whole child through joyful interactions using music and movement.
Kelly Helbach
Educator
Kelly discovered Kindermusik as a parent, bringing her daughter to classes at Little Light Studio. With her background in education as a Kindergarten teacher in both traditional and English-Spanish dual language programs and her lifelong involvement in music, it is a wonderful opportunity to join classes as a certified Educator.
Her passions and degrees lie in language and literacy development, of which music is an integral part. It is a joy for her to learn and grow and to witness others doing so as well. She is excited to welcome you to learn and grow with her in her classes!
Kelly lives in Cedar Falls with her spouse, Justin, and their daughter, Elia (plus their three pets- one dog and two cats!)
